WEB Shooting Stars Director Chris Robinson on Filming in Akron and the 18-Month Hunt to Find Their LeBron James

The True Story of a Young LeBron James

WEB Shooting Stars – the LeBron James biopic – is currently filming in Cleveland. Director Chris Robinson recently discussed the challenges and rewards of bringing the iconic basketball star's story to life.

One of the biggest challenges, Robinson said, was finding the perfect actor to play the young LeBron. "We searched for over 18 months to find someone who had the right combination of charisma, athleticism, and acting ability," he explained. "We finally found him in Sincere MyClass."

MyClass, a 17-year-old from Akron, Ohio, bears a striking resemblance to the young LeBron. He also has the natural athleticism and charisma that the role requires.

Robinson said he is confident that MyClass will deliver a memorable performance. "He's a special young man," he said. "He's got the heart and the talent to tell LeBron's story in a way that will resonate with audiences."

The film is set to be released in 2023. Robinson said he is excited to share the story of LeBron's journey with the world. "It's a story of hope, determination, and triumph," he said. "It's a story that will inspire everyone who sees it."
